About Mackay Isaac Tourism

Mackay Isaac Tourism is the official Regional Tourism Organisation (RTO) for the Mackay Isaac Region.

We work collaboratively with industry, government and community partners to position the region as a leading destination for nature, adventure, business events and regional experiences.

Our role includes:

• Destination marketing to attract domestic and international visitors
• Industry development to support tourism operators through training, grants and insights
• Strategic planning aligned with regional and state tourism priorities
• Partnership facilitation between local government, tourism bodies and stakeholders
• Visitor servicing through our accredited Visitor Information Centres and volunteer programs

We are a not-for-profit organisation governed by a Board of Directors, with an operational teams based in Mackay.
