Festival of Small Halls Spring Tour 2026 - Glenden

Glenden Recreation Centre is the focal point for this small community of passionate residents located 110 kilometres west of Mackay. Established in the early 1980s to support the nearby Newlands Coal Mine, the town is surrounded by cattle grazing stations. A nearby attraction (24km away) is Lake Elphinstone, a natural lake that is a great spot for fishing, birdwatching and popular among the region's local water sports fanatics.
