Now in its third year the JSP Women’s Awards is more than an awards night it is about women and their stories.

These awards are a platform to acknowledge the contribution women make to the region every day.

Women in the region not only create magic in their communities, homes, and businesses, they are also the beacons of light who bring joy, strength and passion.

Joining them this year as the Keynote Storyteller is Claire Christian.

Claire will bring her bright, unapologetic, brilliant self to the stage and speak to embracing who we are, body positivity and finding the things in life that give us pleasure.

Claire tells stories: she is a writer, theatre maker and facilitator based in Meanjin. She has three novels published with Text publishing. Beautiful Mess, which won the 2016 Text Prize (released in 2017), It’s Been A Pleasure, Noni Blake (released in 2020), and West Side Honey (released April 2023).
