The Mackay International Film Festival consists of a three-day weekend of films plus other outreach events. The festival is hosted on the first weekend in August at Birch Carroll and Coyle cinema, Mt Pleasant, Mackay.
The festival commences with a Gala Opening night followed by a program of 5 films over Saturday and Sunday.
A pre-festival screening will be hosted at the Pinnacle Playhouse on Saturday 27th July.
