The Mackay Festival of Arts is returning for its 36th year of incredible events and community entertainment from the 24 June to 6 August 2023.

This annual Festival of Arts program takes place across the entire month of July, with a suite of events activating at various locations in and around the Mackay region.

Proudly supported by the Mackay Regional Council, this exciting program includes a number of large scale Council produced festivals, and locally produced events run by local businesses and organisers.

This exciting array of events runs across a full spectrum of art genres including indoor, outdoor, free community and ticketed events.
