The Mackay International Film Festival consists of a 3- day weekend of films plus other outreach events. The festival is hosted on the first weekend in August at Birch Carroll and Coyle cinema, Mt Pleasant, Mackay. The festival commences with a Gala Opening night followed by a program of 6 movies over the Saturday and Sunday.
An outreach movie will be hosted at the Pinnacle Playhouse on Saturday 29th July.
