Have you ever wanted to take better photos on your mobile phone? Are you trying to master that perfect portrait, compose better TikToks or beautify your Instagram grid?

As part of Mindful Horizons this Queensland Mental Health Month, learn how to fuel your creativity through photography with local photographer Katelyn-Jane Dunn. You'll be taken through the fundamentals of photography, different settings on your mobile, and put it all into practice taking portraits and landscape images in the Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens.

Just bring your own smartphone/tablet, appropriate footwear, sun protection and your imagination as they show you some basic tips and tricks for taking better photos.

This event is for youth aged 12-17 years of age.
